Indeval Financial Protocol - PFI

The PFI is a communication channel between Indeval and its participants that adopts international standards and improves and facilitates the interoperability and execution of financial instructions. This protocol is modeled under the ISO 15022 standard, and with automated STP (Straight Through Processing), the PFI allows participants to access securities administration, clearing, and settlement services.

This scheme:

  • Increases transaction security through signature authentication and the use of certificates

  • Efficient delivery of financial messaging
  • Delivers the message once and only once

    • To support the integration of the PFI into participants' systems, Indeval provides a model called "reference API" that can guide the implementation of some aspects of the financial protocol.

    This reference API abstracts the necessary interfaces to:

  • Establish communication
  • Sending the request message
  • Receive the message(s) resulting from the request
  • Close the established communication
