Indeval provides services for all corporate action processing, including income distributions such as dividends, interest, and redemptions for domestic and international securities. It also processes, among other events, exchanges, rights subscriptions, splits, reverse splits, spin-offs, rebates, and mergers.

Indeval facilitates participants’ exercise of their shareholder rights by issuing position certifications according to the securities they hold. Besides, it provides all corporate action processing for international securities. Indeval does provide proxy voting services for international equities.

All corporate action information is posted in the MAV system (Securities Management Module for its acronym in Spanish). A notification is sent to participants (holding a position) advising that a new event has been added. Indeval’s system provides corporate action notifications to all participants holding a position in the relevant security on the record date, generally one day before the payment date. Also, Indeval has an event calendar with all events, including coupon payments, redemptions, and mandatory and optional events.

For international securities, Indeval acts as the primary source of corporate action information. Data is received via SWIFT MT 564 or MT 568 messages and automatically uploaded into DALI.
